Luxury Buyer : Personal Shopper : Executive Assistant / Manager

My client deals with high net worth and VIP individuals that are based both here in the UK and globally. The position requires you to be able to source luxury items that include watches, jewellery, clothing and more for them. They have 22 offices globally, UK office in the heart of London.

Hybrid role – in office 1 or 2 days a week, rest can work from home

This is more than a Personal Shopper position, it is mixed role and so requires someone who has luxury retail relationships/contacts as well as excellent communication skills (well spoken and articulate) have strong IT, reporting and organisational skills. Further details below:

Luxury Buyer : Personal Shopper : Executive Assistant / Manager requirements

1. The person will have worked at managerial level and have dealt with global luxury & VIP clients (Middle East, Europe etc), this is something not all people at this level have, but important, taking in consideration global personality types and methods of working that differ in different parts of the world.

2. Someone who is strong at business development, negotiation and constantly maintaining client relationships for the continuation of repeat business. Also, given the level of this role, someone with excellent reporting and presentation skills that effectively communicates with senior level individuals and heads of departments eg finance and marketing.

3. The person will have to be extremely sharp, ensuring contracts are accurate / signed on time and someone who is constantly on top of the supplier side of things . . correct items, quantities, delivery dates etc. . . to ensure the smooth and profitable delivery of business operations.

4. The person will think outside the box, looking not only at the current business but also what competitors are doing, using this information as well as other research to strategies future effective ways of working.

5. Your passion will be conveyed in every conversation, and you’ll need an entrepreneurial spirit to be motivated to build your own business by developing client relationships and exceeding KPIs and sales plans.

6. You will need to understand luxury trends across EMEA and be able to build a black book of contacts that can help you source hard-to-find pieces for members.
